In a world full of quirks that grant everyone powers, our young protagonist — Izuku Midoriya, tries to become the strongest Hero despite being born with no quirks.
My Hero Academia released chapter 282 on Sunday, titled “Footfall of Destruction.” So, it’s time to discuss the release date, scans, and other details for chapter 283.
1. Chapter 283 Raw Scans, Leaks
Raw scans for Chapter 283 of the My Hero Academia have were released recently.
Chapter 283, titled “75,” continues showing the fight between Shigaraki and the heroes. The chapter starts with students of U.A. looking upon the destruction caused by Gigantomachia as they ponder about their failure to stop him.
We see Gigantomachia mindlessly destroying everything around him as he carries the League of Villains to Shigaraki. The Doctor, overjoyed by Gigantomachia’s return, reveals that all Nomus are modeled after him. They exist to die for their master – Shigaraki.
The scene shifts back to the fight between Shigaraki and Deku. With all of his quirks restored, Shigaraki is now fully healed. On the other hand, we see Deku full of anger and Todoroki making his way to fight by skating on his ice.
Bakugo and Rock Lock try to warn Deku to back off, but he refuses. Before the fight can begin, we see a giant cut appearing out of nowhere on Shigaraki’s chest. This is explained as Shigaraki not being fully complete yet.
In his fight against Endeavor and the others, Shigaraki pushed himself past his limits and now his body finding it hard to hold together.
We then see a flashback of Mirko right as she is about to destroy Shigaraki’s container, with the focus on the completion level – 75%.
The scene shifts back to the fight where Shigaraki tries to use his Decay quirk again, but is stopped by Deku’s Blackwhip. Shigaraki powers through it, which forces Deku to grab everyone (using Blackwhip) and jump as high as he can. In a surprising turn of events, Deku doesn’t fall back down but continues floating!! Looks like he has unlocked yet another quirk — Nana Shimura’s Float!!
2. Chapter 283 Speculations/ Predictions
I. A Dire Situation
Chapter 283 ended with Shigaraki getting his quirks back as he heals himself. Shigaraki is itching to get his hands on One for All and is going to relentlessly pursue Deku.
Shigaraki has all of his quirks and is fighting against weakened opponents with Gigantomachia on the way.
The situation seems dire for the heroes. Since this is definitely not the end of the series, there must be an unexpected ace up the sleeve of the heroes which can bail them out from this horrible situation.
II. Gigantomachia Switches Sides?
Gigantomachia’s return to the scene was rather unexpected since he was put to sleep by UA students not so long ago. This seems suspicious. The visor in front of Gigantomachia’s eyes also points to something odd going on.
Could he be controlled by the heroes somehow? That wouldn’t fair too well as that would mean the heroes caused a lot of destruction. Comment down below with your theories!

The bullet hit Aizawa’s leg with a force so large that his limb twists. Aizawa has a mini flashback about Eri and cuts off his leg above the bullet’s impact. Shigaraki breaks free from Deku’s Black Whip and before Deku can locate him, Shigaraki is already next to Aizawa.
Todoroki comes into the scene and creates an ice barrier that launches Shigaraki in the air. Deku uses a 100% attack with Black Whip supporting his arm to dampen the force.
While Shigaraki recovers, Deku helps Aizawa move away from the fight. Aizawa becomes unconscious and we see Shigaraki stand up as his body heals himself. Shigaraki has all of his quirks back!
The chapter ends as we hear a PSA to evacuate the city as Gigantomachia is making his way to Shigaraki’s location!
