This will be the 10th installment of Night Tempo’s The Showa Groove series. The artist collaborates with artists from the 80s and re-edits their songs into modern-day club music, which has the whole world dancing to its beats right now.

This time, the artist announced a collab with Momoko Kikuchi, a sensation back then and a favorite of many even now. Gen Z and millennials will be losing their minds at how amazing her songs still are.

The 80s artist is known for her soothing yet addictive voice, making people fall into a trance. The following tracks of hers will be re-edited and released as Night Tempo Showa Groove Mix version:

  • Alfa Fight
  • Glass no Sougen
  • Good Friend
  • Night Cruising

Moreover, Momoko Kikuchi and her band RA MU’s songs are now officially available on music streaming giants like Spotify, YouTube Music, and Apple Music.

The good part doesn’t stop here. To everyone who is looking for some nostalgia, Kikuchi and RA MU’s official music videos from the 80s will be available on the VAP Official Music Channel

Night Tempo is also the reason why the whole world is grooving to Miki Matsubara’s ‘Stay With Me’ and Mariya Takeuchi’s ‘Plastic Love’ again after decades.

The songs became a popular trend and connected two generations who bonded over the universal language of music. It’s not often that you and your parents agree on the same theme, but Night Tempo is an artist that made this possible.

I really cannot wait anymore for the upcoming Momoko Kikuchi collaboration. It is honestly so thrilling!
