City Pop as a genre in the Japanese music industry was lost after living out its prime years in the 80’s.
The South Korean artist Night Tempo will release his latest re-edit of 80s songs called ‘Momoko Kikuchi – Night Tempo Presents The Showa Groove.’
The artist collaborates with artists from the 80s and re-edits their songs into modern-day club music, which has the whole world dancing to its beats.
This time, the artist announced a collab with Momoko Kikuchi, a sensation back then and a favorite of many even now.
Night Tempo is also the reason why everyone is grooving to Miki Matsubara’s ‘Stay With Me’ and Mariya Takeuchi’s ‘Plastic Love’ again after decades.
I really cannot wait anymore for the upcoming Momoko Kikuchi collaboration. It is honestly so thrilling!
