The group, along with Anos and NousGalia, heads off to Alhartern in episode 3 of The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2, titled “The Spirit’s School Building”. Anos saves a mysterious girl with amnesia named Lena from some thugs, and she guides them to Alhartern. The group is led to the spirit school building by the spirits, where they also meet the Four Evil Royals.
They are made to pass an exam by the spirit tree Enyunien in exchange for meeting the Spirit King. Anos makes a bet with the Royals that they will all pass by studying within a day and he cleverly proves himself right.

Episode 4 Speculation
The group is getting closer to meeting the Spirit King. The next episode will show the trial put forward by Enyunien. All the evidence about Lena points to her being either Leno or Fran.
Since Anos feels familiar to her, it’s a possibility that she is Leno and she didn’t actually die when the spirits thought she dies, and instead sealed her memories to save herself.
The Spirit King will probably turn out to be Shin as he came into being 2000 years ago which is when Shin met Leno. There is definitely a reason why he couldn’t get in contact with Anos all this time and it might have something to do with the decay in Alhartern.

Episode 3 Recap
Anos, along with NousGalia and the rest of the group, heads off to find a way to Alhartern. They split up and Anos, Misha, and Sasha find a mysterious girl being attacked by some people, talking about Alharetern. Anos saves her and asks her for any information about the path.
She asks to take her with them in return and tells Anos that she has lost her memory. The only thing she knows is that her name is Lena and she must go to Alhartern.
After confirming that she isn’t a demon, Anos agrees and she tells them that the fog covers the Lishas Meadow during an eclipse, the area where the fairies appear. They talk about when the next eclipse is but Anos uses his power to easily make it happen.
Sasha questions why Lena doesn’t appear surprised by Anos powers and she tells them that Anos feels familiar to her. She also tells them that in order to make the fairies come out, they have to show them something unique and make them smile.
The group tries a number of things to no avail. The rest of the girls appear at that point, with cheer sticks in their hands, and Ellen embarrassingly tells Anos that they bought them because they had the name “Club of Anossu”. Hearing their gushes and cheers, the spirits appear and agree to lead them to Alhartern.
The spirits look at Lena and tell them that she looks like the Great Spirit Leno, though it couldn’t be her since she died. Misa asks them if they knew about her father since she was told that her mother was Leno but the spirits run away saying that it’s a secret set by the Spirit King. Anos and Lay are surprised since a spirit king didn’t exist 2000 years ago.
The spirits lead them to the spirit school building where they meet the Four Evil Royals. The bell rings and Lena suddenly says Enyunien.
Enyunien, the great Tree Spirit of Education appears and tells them that they have to pass three of his tests, which will then make them eligible to undergo a spirit trial to graduate and get out of the room. He tells them that if they pass, they can meet the Spirit King.
Anos asks Enyunien to reduce the tests to one and they will give it the same day instead of a week later. Enyunien agrees, warning them that his tests are difficult. Anos makes a bet with Gilysiris that he and his whole group will successfully graduate.
Anos also tells Lena that she is probably a spirit and tries to restore her memories, but even his spell can’t do it fully.
Anos reads all the books and teaches the rest of his subordinates. While studying, he notices that a page has been ripped from a book, regarding information about Love Fairy Fran.
Anos’s clever teaching strategies allow everyone to pass. Gilysiris raises an objection but is proven wrong. Anos uses his powers to deduce that Gilysiris actually tampered with the questions in the paper and Enyunies declares that he will allow everyone to undergo the trial to settle the matter.

The Misfit of Demon King Academy, also known as Maō Gakuin no Futekigōsha, is a Japanese light novel series written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma.
The series initially began as an amateur web novel in April 2017 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was later acquired by ASCII Media Works, which officially began to publish it in March 2018.
