Recent events in the My Hero Academia manga had Deku pushing himself to the extreme and operating as a lone wolf. But now, as he approaches his limit, someone unexpected shows up in Chapter 318 to change all of that.
When Izuku initially decided to stray off alone, he could smile and accept help from people around him. But after his entanglement with Lady Nagant and All for One, all that was out of the window.
He finally decides to leave All Might and everyone else to shoulder the responsibility alone. As explained by his predecessors, that is the destiny of someone who holds One for All.
This new way of doing things seems to be working against him. Deku keeps pushing himself without even realizing that it is harming him. This is very evident in his fight against the Dictator in this chapter.
Usually, Izuku has shown analytical skills to overcome problems like this easily, but he cannot think clearly due to his exhaustion. He succumbs to his limits only to receive help from someone rather unexpected.
In comes the only person he will listen to, other than All Might.
Bakugo attacks the Dictator while telling someone on the phone that he has found Midoriya. The second user remarks that the only person who can comfort Deku in this state is Katsuki.
It seems that after all the struggle alone, Midoriya is about to get some help, even if it is against his wishes. All Might had previously ignored Night Eye’s advice to rest and take it easy, which resulted in him unwillingly burning himself out.
Midoriya was about to suffer the same fate, probably worse. However, it seems like he is finally about to come home.
Now that Izuku has changed, will he still listen to someone like Bakugo? or will he reject his helping hand? Are we about to see a clash?
