P.A. Works is one of the most renowned studios out there, with some of the best anime ever created. But setting aside action-themed anime, the studio announced that they have been working on the original anime ‘Komada: A Whisky Family.’
The new promotional stuff has already created a lot of hype for the anime, but now the studio has revealed more information regarding the movie, making fans even more excited about the movie.
On Tuesday, anime Studio P.A. Works revealed the main visual and a new trailer video for its new original feature-length anime film project Komada – A Whisky Family (Komada Jōryūsho e Yōkoso, literally “Welcome to the Komada Distillery). The film will open in Japan on November 10.
The video reveals the film’s additional cast and staff and previews the theme song “Dear my future” by Saori Hayami, who voices the protagonist Rui Komada in the film.

About Komada – A Whisky Family
Komada – A Whisky Family (Komada Jōryūsho e Yōkoso) is an original anime film by P.A. Works. It is planned for a theatrical release in November and will also compete at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival (Contrechamp category).
News reporter Kotaro visits the Komada Distillery for a project on Japanese craft whisky. The distillery is led by the young Rui Komada, who took over the business after the death of her father.
As she deals with the aftermath of a natural disaster, financial challenges, and family issues; she tries to revive her family’s signature whisky Koma, which they stopped producing years ago.
