Episode 17 Recap

It’s the last day of the festival, and Iruma and Lead have yet to make the Legendary Leaf bloom. They don’t know how to do it. Suddenly, Lead remembers their first lesson with Suzie.

She told the class that they could bloom flowers using their magic. When Lead tries it, it doesn’t produce any results. Nefra waters the plant a little bit, after which the leaf shows signs of blooming.

Lead and Iruma combine their magic, but even that doesn’t help them. Iruma decides to use Ifrit mode, but Ari stops him as he is at his limits. He tells Iruma to use the magic of some beast nearby with lots of power still left.

Iruma notices that Clara has a lot of magical power left. He tells her to grab his hand, and with the help of her powers, they make the leaf bloom. However, what comes out is not a leaf but a small toy-like figure.

The time-up bell rings, and everyone returns back to the base camp. When Iruma and Lead return, they shock everyone with the funny thing they blossomed.

However, Bram and Suzie rush towards them and claim that the funny thing is the Legendary Leaf. They get 100,000 points which get equally distributed between Lead and Iruma.

When it is time for the ranking announcement, everyone is shocked as Orobas comes first with 58,000 points.

However, Jazz raises an objection as the point of ending also carries twenty thousand points, and with that being equally distributed, Iruma and Lead are the festival winners.

Orobas is kind of relieved after getting the third position. He apologizes to Iruma and Lead, but they tell him not to worry about it. Ameri approaches Lead, and it is revealed that Nefra is a first-year student council member.

He was a secret character. Without him, the leaf wouldn’t have bloomed. Suddenly, the Legendary Leaf starts talking. It tells everyone that it was made out of a joke, but the experience and struggle of Lead and Iruma made it well-deserved.
