Megumin leaves the village in episode 6 of KONOSUBA: Sekai ni Bakuen wo! titled “The Raison D’etre of an Explosive NEET.”

It was finally time for Megumin to say goodbye to everyone. The last part of the episode was really touching and heartwarming. Yunyun was really sad about Megumin leaving, but there was no other choice. 

I really loved the part where Megumin spent her last evening with Komekko. Seeing Komekko being bold and wishing her sister good luck melted my heart. Besides that, nothing major happened in the episode apart from the introduction of Arnes.

1. Episode 7 Speculations

Yunyun will reunite with Megumin in episode 7 of KONOSUBA: Sekai ni Bakuen wo! Titled “Troublemakers of the City of Water.”

It seems like Yunyun won’t leave Megumin’s side anytime soon. Megumin has left the village and will be exploring new places, meeting new characters, and getting into much more trouble.

We saw some new faces in the preview. Megumin seems to have reached the City of Water. She is still looking for a job as all her money went into traveling. It is then that Yunyun comes into the scene and helps her out.

Episode 7 of the KONOSUBA: Sekai ni Bakuen wo! anime has been released on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

 It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Wednesday.

3. Episode 6 Recap

Megumin fails to get any job. Out of frustration, she causes huge explosions in the town, causing everyone to panic, thinking that the Dark King has returned. 

Yunyun goes to Megumin’s house and scolds her for the commotion the previous night. She offers to help her find a job. Together, they set out to do some work but fail miserably in everything. 

Megumin tells Yunyun to go on a little date with her. She goes on to use the explosion magic in the open. She tells Yunyun that it is necessary for her to use her magic at least once a day or she will die. 

Bukkorori appears there, thinking that the Mad Exploder has shown up. Megumin lies to him that they did encounter her. Yunyun drops Megumin off and leaves. 

A strange lady appears at Megumin’s door. Her name is Arnes, and she is a servant of Lady Wolbach, who is now Megumin’s cat. Arnes tells Chomusuke to come with her, but she shows no interest. 

Arnes offers her money. Megumin easily agrees, but Chomusuke is not ready to leave. So, Arnes tells them that she will come the next day and leaves. Yunyun gets to know about this and is left in shock. 

Arnes shows up, and it is revealed that she is a high-rank demon. Suddenly, she falls unconscious. Megumin provides her with some tea. Arnes tells them that she has faced much trouble while searching for her lady. 

Also, because of some strange magic aura, men around her get attracted to Arnes and trick and deceive her. Bukkorori appears, along with some other men, looking for her. 

In the end, she had to run away because of the men. Later that evening, Megumin tells Yunyun that she will leave the place the next morning. Yunyun finds it sudden, but Megumin tells her that it is inevitable. 

Megumin spends some time with her sister and guides her on some things. Komekko says goodbye, wishing her sister luck. The next day, Megumin visits the school, where her friends give her, a magic stick made by Funifura’s father as a parting gift. 

Arue gives her eyepatch to Megumin. With all these gifts and wishes, Megumin takes her leave, vowing to perfect explosion magic.

KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! is a spinoff light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. The series was launched in July 2014 and ended in June 2015. It has also inspired several manga series.

The story follows the character Megumin from the original KonoSuba series who only knows Explosion Magic. She decides to hone her only skill and become the greatest magician.
