A message arrives at Kanyou that Kanki and Ousen’s army has laid siege to Bujou and Heiyou without much resistance. Everything’s fine until a message comes from Ousen himself.
Shou Hei Kun reads it and tells Sei that Ousen encountered a massive wall running on for hundreds of miles to the south of Kantan. Ousen also writes that they shall go to the north to Gian.
Sei asks if that means Ousen is trying to close off the escape for the royal family. Shou Hei Kun replies in the affirmative and adds if that were to happen, the Zhao royal family would establish some other territory as theirs, and the war would continue.
Some officials think a territory that far up north doesn’t require troops to be sent. Sei says they still need to reinforce that area to end this war.
Sou’ou, along with his lover Shi Ryou is trying to force open the gates of Bujou castle by having soldiers put all their ladders in one corner. Even with the arrows coming, their soldiers manage to open the gates from the inside.
Heiyou falls to Kanki’s armies in a few more days, but this time Kanki hands the prisoners to the Hi Shin Unit. Shin and his subordinates assure everyone that no one will harm them.
