Akakin’s unit climbs up to the end and pushes in while Zhao HQ is trying to understand the situation. Zhao’s left side soldiers defend against enemies but Akakin takes his soldiers towards the forest in the back.
Ten explains that if the Zhao escapes to the back, Akakin will be there and if they go down the cliff, Kyoukai is there so this is their best chance at winning this battle.
4. Chapter 683 Recap
Ryuuhaku enters Raido’s territory to save his son. On seeing his son tied to a tree, he loses his mind and starts crying, giving his enemies a perfect opportunity to attack him.
Even after being heavily injured, Ryuuhaku catches a glimpse of his son and stands up on his feet to fight again. Raido’s soldiers are surprised to see Ryuuhaku moving while being covered in blood. However, Ryuuhaku’s soldiers’ arrival grabs their attention.
Raido’s soldiers ask him to evacuate from the place as they’re sure that Ryuuhaku’s soldiers will outnumber theirs. But Raido being stubborn to kill Ryuuhaku, refuses to go with them. He then continues to injure Ryuuhaku.
But Ryuuhaku again stands up and defends himself. He yells at Raido and swears not to let him have an easy path. Just when Raido takes his sword to slash Ryuuhaku’s throat while calling them a ‘family of fools,’ Ryuuhaku manages to escape his attack by blocking his hand.
Meanwhile, as Ryuuhaku’s soldiers come nearer, Raido’s soldiers scream and ask him to clear the place. On being commanded to do so, Raido’s soldier cuts off Ryuuhaku’s arm.
Soon, Raido and his soldiers realize it’s too late to escape now as Ryuuhaku’s eldest son, Ryuufu, and his troops have already caught them up. As the soldiers capture Raido’s troops, Ryuufu breaks down on seeing his father and brother brutally killed by Raido.
Ryuufu doesn’t kill Raido there and decides to take him alive to torture him the same way Raido tortured his father and brother.
Back at the cliff, Qin’s left-wing unit and Zhao’s right-wing unit clashes with each other. Hi Shin unit realizes that Zhao’s right-wing soldiers are gradually outnumbering theirs. So, they decide to form a pincer.
In the end, Gyoku Hou army commander Akakin also arrives at the cliff.
