Kingdom Season 3 is a 2020 Spring anime that took a hiatus after releasing four episodes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The year-long wait is finally coming to a halt as the production team announced the anime’s return with the release of a new teaser and visual of Episode 5.
Kingdom is the anime adaption of one of the best manga of all time by Yasuhisa Hara. The series takes its inspiration from real-life events of ancient Chinese history.
War-orphan Li Xin and his best friend, Piao, share the dream of becoming the Great General of the Heavens and unifying China.
In Episode 4, we saw that Qin was getting attacked by all the other 6 states, resulting in a coalition invasion. Xin planned on leading the troops charged onto 10000 soldiers.
Episode 5 will continue the current Alliance arc where soldiers would breach the walls of the Hangu Pass, leading to Qin’s Downfall.
1. Release Date
Kingdom Season 3 will resume its run from April 2021. The season started airing in April 2020 and went into a hiatus after releasing 4 episodes due to the global pandemic.
The exact release date is yet to be confirmed, but we can expect the hiatus to end in the first or second week of April.

The Kingdom is a Japanese seinen manga series written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara.
The manga provides a fictionalized account of the Warring States period primarily through the experiences of the war orphan Xin and his comrades as he fights to become the most significant general under the heavens, and in doing so, unifying China for the first time in 500 years.
Several of the characters are based on historical figures. Often, characters will take the names of people in history, and other times they will have completely different names. The series was adapted into a three-season anime television series by Studio Pierrot.
