Liu takes a stance that is quite different from the typical western martial arts we know. The commentator speculates that it must be some sort of secret oriental martial arts that no one has seen before.
Meanwhile, in the dressing room, Lolong wonders if Tokumichi is still conscious after taking those heavy blows.
The next panel shows us flashbacks of the day when Carlos asked Naidan about Liu’s strengths and weaknesses. He was about to face Liu in his next match, so he tried to do a little homework.
Despite being one of the best A-class Purgatory fighters, Naidan lost to Liu in their first match. He reveals that once Liu is fully switched on, he gets out of hand.
Coming back to the ongoing fight, Tokumichi gets back on his feet in the seventh count. However, the expression on his face has changed, and he looks a lot more roughed up.
To Liu’s surprise, Tokumichi still has the strength to continue with his amateurish yet powerful strikes. Not only that, he has gotten a lot faster than before.
With no other option left, Liu resorts to his Fa Jin again. But this time, Tokumichi was prepared for it. He evades the hit, thereby creating an opening in Liu’s defense.
Tokumichi grams Liu by his waist and thrashed him to the ground. It seems Liu relied too much on his Fa Jin, which cost him the match.
