Kengan Omega Chapter 100: Release Date, Delay, Discussion

We are waiting for the 100th chapter of Kengan Omega manga that will take us to the final showdown between Arashiyama Jurota and Hayami Masaki.

The previous chapter ended with Kuroki Gensai acknowledging Jurota’s strength and tagging him to be on par with him. This is enough to give us an idea about Jurota’s overwhelming strength.

He has thrown Masaki down three times in a row, but Masaki seems to be getting faster with each fall. Can he beat someone who is three times stronger than him? We bring you the latest chapter updates for this manga.

1. Chapter 100 Discussions & Predictions

Chapter 99 teased us that Masaki is slowly getting used to Jurota’s speed. Although there is a huge power gap between them, Masaki hopes that he will somehow defeat an opponent three times stronger than him.

We are yet to know why Masaki is called the “Killing Throw.” He hasn’t revealed any of his techniques, and I hope we will get to see them once he catches up with Jurota’s speed.

The fact that Kuroki Gensai, the champion of the Kengan Annihilation Tournament, has considered Jurota to be on par with him somehow assures that he will win the fight. But a part of me still hopes that Hayami has a secret trump card that can pose a threat to Jurota.

The chapter is titled “He is Found.” It reveals that Jurota has been searching for Masaki for a long time, right from the day when he saw Masaki fighting on the television.

He firmly believed that Masaki would be his worthy rival, but he got involved in a serial murder case the very next year. After that incident, Juruta stepped down from his fighting life, waiting for Masaki’s return.

Now that they are finally facing each other, Misaki has started to show his true colors. He grabs Jurota’s neck with his legs and tries to pin him to the ground.

5. Recap of Chapter 99

Chapter 99 is a very short chapter that serves as a build-up before the final showdown between Jurota and Hayami on the next one. The chapter starts with flashbacks from the day when Teddy Nelnar and Kushita Rin met much before the tournament started.

I. Arashiyama Jurota the Vanished Judo Champion

We see Teddy Nelnar, the Judo 100+Kg World Champion, refusing Kushida Rin’s appeal to join their side in the Kengan Association vs Purgatory Tournament.

Teddy is the face of the French martial arts, so he cannot afford to join the underworld. However, he decides to help Yamashita corporation in any other way possible if required.

But the meeting wasn’t completely useless since Teddy reveals some vital information on Jurota. Even the Judo Champion gets astonished to find someone as skilled as Jurota in the underworld.

Teddy Reveals that Jurota is ten years older than him. He had been the Judo Champion once and suddenly vanished before gaining fame or popularity. He further comments that even he cannot beat him if Jurota is as strong as he was in his prime time or reached even higher heights.

II. A New Throwing Technique

Coming back to the ongoing fight, Jurota is fast in throwing Masaki down that he hardly gets any time to react or cushion his fall. But he stands back on his feet on the count of 8.

Even Kazuo Yamashita’s fist eye fails to see what just happened. Masaki made the first move, but he was the one thrashed into the ground.

Masaki once again attacks him, and the same thing happens again. It feels like watching a replay of the first move, but this time Masaki wakes up on the sixth count.

Lolong, the other king of Purgatory, explains Jurota’s technique. According to him, one needs to grab first to throw his opponent, which results in a time lag, allowing the opponent to evade the throw.

However, Jurota has mastered a technique with which he can throw his opponent just by pinching his clothes. Thus, there’s no scope for Masaki to counter or evade it.

It took him over 20 years to perfect this technique, and both Ohma and Kanoh admit that they cannot pull off such a move. Back in the spectator’s seat, Kuroki Gensai, the master of Kaiwan Style, tags him to be on par with him.

Once again, Jurota swings Masaki effortlessly like a sword and this time, he gets back on his feet on the count of 5. Although he is bleeding, he is gradually getting the hang of Jurota’s overwhelming speed.
