Ohma Tokita and his manager Kazuo Yamashita are essential to the plot of Kengan Ashura. The first time they meet is in a back alley. Ohma is fighting someone bigger than him, and Kazuo is watching.

By coincidence, Kazuo’s firm has a fresh recruit of Kengan warriors. Hideki Nogi, Kazuo’s boss, has selected Ohma as a Kengan fighter. Kazuo is also chosen as Ohma’s manager.

Ohma fails to be Hideki’s Kengan fighter due to various challenges and tribulations. In wrath, he chokes Hideki and demands that he reveal the cause. The next tournament to determine the next head of the Kengan Association will be held, and it turns out. He already has a replacement for Ohma.

Ohma rejects the decision and intends to compete in the Kengan Tournament as a representative of Kazuo’s firm.

Yabako Sandrovich created the manga Kengan Ashura, which Daromeon drew. Shogakukan published it from April 2012 until August 2018. Comikey has digitally licensed the English translation. The chapter has been collected into 27 manga volumes and one bonus.

In January 2015, Ura Sunday conducted a poll. The topic is the next manga to be animated.mKengan Ashura easily won the popular vote. In May 2015, it received 2.3 million votes out of a total of 9 million votes cast. Kengan Ashura will be adapted into an anime series. However, the news of adaptation collapses.

Following that, no additional information is added. Two years later, it was revealed that the anime was still in the works. The cast and crew were announced in 2018. Finally, on June 31, 2019, the anime debuted on Netflix. The anime’s second installment was released three months later, in October 2019.
