Virtual Witch Phenomenon’s ‘Kamitsubaki’ to Receive an Anime Adaptation

Kamitsubaki Studio is a Japanese YouTube label that brings a new perspective of “V-world” through its music and stories. They are known for their interactive video games.

And now, an anime series based on one of their projects has been announced during the first day of its “Kamitsubaki Yoyogi Wars 2024” event.

Kamitsubaki Studio is planning a television anime adaptation of its ‘Kamitsubaki City Under Construction’ project for 2025. 

The studio has been working on their “table-talk” role-playing games since 2019. The story focuses on unraveling the mysteries hidden in the virtual city of Kamitsubaki, restoring order and peace on its streets.

The members of the virtual artist group V.W.P (Virtual Witch Phenomenon) are: KAF, RIM, Harusaruhi, Isekaijoucho, and COKO 

Many fans seem intrigued by this new and unique take on anime. However, there isn’t much information, so we can only wait for the studio to release more details.

About Kamitsubaki City Under Construction

Kamitsubaki City Under Construction is a Japanese mixed-media project created by Kamitsubaki Studio. It consists of songs, videos, as well as a tabletop game and a video game. An anime television series based on the project is scheduled to premiere in 2025.

The series focuses on the mysteries of a virtual Kamitsubaki City which is under crisis and how our main characters restore its peace.
