Kagurabachi Chapter 17: Release Date, Speculation, Read Online

Chihiro has finally rescued Char, but she is worried about his condition. She tries her best to heal him. However, all the previous attempts at regenerating other people’s cells have been unsuccessful.

Kamunabi has the upper hand initially while fighting Sojo. However, just like Chihiro, Sojo also reaches a deeper understanding of Cloud Gouger, turning the tides of the fight. Here are the latest updates.

3. Chapter 17 Speculation

Char is safe with Shiba for now. With the end of the battle with Kamunabi, Sojo has made it out alive. However, his state is worse for wear. Chihiro is not faring any better. Their re-match is estimated to last for 12 seconds. 

Both Chihiro and Sojo have powered up, and now, with a deeper understanding of their enchanted blade, they can go beyond their limits.

The Kamunabi have nearly been obliterated. We don’t know how many members will survive. The elite squad would have defeated Sojo had it not been for the sudden power-up. 

4. Chapter 16 Recap

Chihiro successfully rescues Char in chapter 16 of Kagurabachi, titled “Silence.” However, Char is worried about Chihiro’s state. Chihiro reassures her, but he is aware that even if Nishiki aided his movements and reduced the stress on his body, it would do nothing to lessen the pain.

Char is reminded of her mother’s and Sojo’s words about her ability. According to Sojo, Char’s cells should also be able to regenerate other people’s cells. However, all the experiments have resulted in failure. Char remembers her mother telling her that if she wishes for the pain to go away hard enough, she can help other people.

Char reminds herself of everything Chihiro did for her and succeeds in healing his damaged left hand. Shiba reunites with Chihiro, and Chihiro hands Char over, asking Shiba to look after her. Both Chihiro and Shiba realize that something is wrong. Chihiro readies himself for battle and unsheathes Enten.

The Kamunabi had the upper hand in their fight against Sojo. Despite the disadvantage, Sojo uses other combination attacks to counterattack, but the Kamunabi keep attacking. The Kamunabi’s plan of attack was to pierce Sojo and retrieve Cloud Gouger.

The plan is a success, but Sojo’s following movements are unpredictable as he immediately counters with an onslaught of attacks. Like Chihiro, Sojo also reaches an intrinsic understanding of Cloud Gouger and goes beyond its limits.

The blade that was taken away from him returns to him, striking multiple Kamunabi members. With the sudden power-up, Sojo attacks every single member, nearly taking them all out. Sojo has reduced Mei’s interval period.

When Sojo encounters Chihiro, he immediately realizes he has surpassed his limits. Sojo wishes to talk to Chihiro, but words are not needed. Both Sojo and Chihiro are nearly at their limits, and their battle would barely last a moment.
