A new arc will begin with the sixth episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. The “Shibuya Incident” arc will encompass the remaining episodes of Season 2. One year later, Gojo has become so skilled at applying his curse technique and becoming “the strongest” that he takes on more solo missions, leaving Geto feeling more alienated and uncertain. Geto encounters Special Grade sorcerer Yuki Tsukomo after speaking with underclassman Yu Haibara, who explains her aim to purge the world of afflicted spirits formed by the curse energy given off by non-sorcerers.
Geto realizes this is possible if they kill all non-sorcerers and force them to adapt. After Haibara is slain on a mission and two young sorcerer girls are found molested in a village, Geto chooses to murder everyone in the village, including his parents.
Geto is labeled a curse user and sentenced to death due to this deed, which astounds Gojo. He meets Geto, who discloses his intentions, having already killed his parents and utilizing Gojo’s immense power as fuel to pursue his aims.
Gojo tries to stop him but cannot and lets him leave. Geto becomes the new leader of the Star Religious Group, and Gojo meets Megumi, deciding to protect him from the Zen’in clan. Gojo awakens from his dream to be greeted by Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara.
