Gojo and Sukuna’s domains clash once more in chapter 229 of Jujutsu Kaisen, titled “Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown, Part 7.”
With multiple sorcerer spectators to this legendary battle, Sukuna and Gojo continue grinning throughout their fight. The two of them launch their simultaneous Domain Expansions once more, which was once a one-shot winning move, now becomes just a standard attack at the scale of this battle.
Gojo launches flurries of attacks to keep up with Sukuna’s constant evolution and regeneration, desperate to collapse on him with Unlimited Void. The opportunity presents itself, but Sukuna reveals another trump card.

Chapter 230 of Jujutsu Kaisen starts with Mei Mei explaining the trump card of the Zenin Clan, which is Mahoraga. Choso adds that Mahoraga can adapt to any kind of attack, and Yuji asks Choso if it also adapts to Unlimited Void.
On the battleground, Sukuna is back on his feet as Gojo’s Void attack was destroyed by Mahoraga. Someone else took the ‘Sure Hit’ of Gojo’s Unlimited Void.
Gojo deduces that it wasn’t Mahoraga, and Sukuna then sends Mahoraga back into his shadows. Gojo mocks Sukuna and says that he is happy that Sukuna is fighting so desperately.
When he was not using his Domain Amplification, he made Megumi adapt to Gojo’s void using the Ten Shadow Cursed Technique. Gojo thinks to himself that Megumi has not adapted to the Unlimited Void, as his soul was used only in the process.
If Gojo expands his Domain again, Sukuna will be forced to summon Mahoraga. This time, Gojo makes sure to finish the Shikigami in one shot. Sukuna laughs and says he will not be able to use his domain expansion again. We then see Gojo start to nosebleed at the end.
Sukuna says he used his reverse curse technique to recover himself. Sorcerers deduce that Gojo has used his process of destroying the brain and healing it five times now.
Sukuna asks Gojo “You are reaching your limit, right?”. Also, Sukuna says that this time he will close his domain with a barrier so Gojo cannot escape.
Sukuna then tries to open his domain, Malevolent Shrine, but it gets immediately destroyed. Sukuna also starts to bleed as his brain also takes damage due to the Void. Gojo laughs at Sukuna, as he cannot expand his domain now.
Then Gojo points at Mei Mei’s crows and says that my students are watching me and I am still going to look cool. Gojo then pulls Sukuna towards him and lands a hard punch on his face.

Mahoraga is a highly formidable foe considering that it instantly adapted to Unlimited Void and countered an attack from Gojo within his Domain. Considering Sukuna had waited this long to bring it out, summoning it probably has some drawbacks.
With its overwhelming strength, there may also be an enormous burden on its summoner or a limited time limit for which it can be present in this world. Gojo will likely figure out its weakness and then capitalize on it to take it out and continue the battle.

Gojo is put on the back foot with Mahoraga grinning at his shock, so there is a high chance he may not directly win this battle. If Mahoraga bests Gojo in this battle, the other sorcerers may be forced to step in, although that may not end well either.

The fight between Gojo and Sukuna continues raging, with neither at a clear advantage. Once more, the two use Domain Expansion simultaneously, shocking the spectators. Using Reverse Cursed Technique, Sukuna can restore his burnt-out techniques making him much more dangerous.
It would take Sukuna three whole minutes to destroy Gojo’s Domain from the outside, but Gojo is trapped in Malevolent Shrine until then. The win condition for him is to defeat Sukuna within his own Domain before the three minutes runs out, and that would result in a clear-cut victory.
Considering the strength of Gojo’s Unlimited Void, a few seconds is all he needs to win the battle. In Malevolent Shrine, Gojo launches a flurry of attacks that Sukuna expertly counters while they trade hits at a near imperceivable speed. At the end of the trade of attacks, both Domains collapse simultaneously.
Gojo spots an extremely tiny delay where Sukuna is busy regenerating and restoring his cursed technique and uses Unlimited Void before Sukuna can use his Domain. Although the gap was less than 0.01 seconds, Gojo managed to strike his fist through Sukuna’s heart.
Within Unlimited Void, Malevolent Shrine collapses, leaving Sukuna open for all his attacks. Remembering the state that Yuuji was left in, Gojo charges in with the intent to dismember him until all of his organs are obliterated.
Sukuna has not exhausted all his aces yet as he pulls out the treasure Mahoraga. With it, he summons the Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga of the Eight-Handled Sword. Gojo is taken aback but recognizes that there’s no way it would have already adapted to his Domain and goes to kill it in one shot.
However, he underestimated the strength of such a legendary curse as it has already made itself comfortable. Shattering the balance of the battle, Mahoraga grins with an itch to battle a strong opponent.
