I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years Episode 5: Release Date, Speculation And Watch Online

Episode 4 showed us the complicated relationship between the Blue Dragons and the Red Dragons. Thanks to Azusa and Beelzebub, who made them sign a non-aggression treaty, thereby ending the rivalry between the two Dragon clans.

The episode introduced us to a new character, Flatorte, who may look like a rude and jealous dragon, but is a softie by heart. Despite her shameful defeat in the hands of the Red Dragons, she gives her blessings to Leila.

Will Flatorte be a part of Azusa’s family? Can she fit in there with Laika being Azuka’s favorite apprentice? We bring you the latest episode updates for this anime.

1. Episode 5 Speculation

In Episode 5, Flatorte will become a part of Azusa’s new family. Based on the priority Flatorte got in the theme songs and promos, it’s clear that she isn’t just a filler character.

Moreover, I think Azusa got a liking for Flatorte’s personality after she conveyed her blessings to Leila. Thus, Azusa will take her in as her new pupil despite her rivalry with Laika.

The episode may also introduce us to new characters like Resalie and Pecora. A witch, two dragons, two slime spirits, a demon lord, and an irresponsible elf, that pretty much sums up Azusa’s family for now. I wonder who will be the next one.

On arrival, Laika introduces her new friends to her family. They are glad to see Laika has found friends who take good care of her. They are enjoying a grand feast just before the wedding begins.

II. Red Dragons vs. Blue Dragons

When things were going smoothly, a gang of Blue Dragons led by Flatorte attacks the wedding. For those who don’t know, Blue Dragons are barbarous ice-breathing creatures who hold a heavy grudge towards the prosperous Red Dragons.

Apart from their ancestral rivalry, Flatorte is jealous of Leila for getting married at 300, where she herself has been single for 400 years, so she goes for a full-scale attack to ruin her marriage.

Azusa initially thought to stay away from their internal conflict but decides to step in when a Blue Dragon comes after them. As we all know, the overpowered witch becomes a female version of Saitama when it comes to her family’s safety.

She one-shots the evil dragons one after the other, and soon the entire army is defeated. Meanwhile, another group of Blue Dragons is trying to freeze the huge volcano that supports the Red Dragons.

III. A Peace Treaty

Coincidentally, Beelzebub, the high-rank demon lord, is also in this town. She was trying to have a hot spring bath when these problematic dragons ruined her peaceful time.

She casts a mana drawing spell on them that makes them too weak to move. Azusa thanks her for taking care of this mess while she was busy fighting the other dragons.

Azusa and Beelzebub make Flatorte compensate for the enormous destruction with a huge sum of money. Not only that, the two Dragon clans have to sign a non-aggression treaty that finally settles the ancestral rivalry.

With this, the Red Dragons resume their celebration. Azusa and her family are treated as special guests for saving the wedding. They spend a happy time eating and drinking together.
