The spontaneously unpredictable isekai anime Uncle from Another World, also known as Isekai Ojisan is finally returning for its season finale. The anime went through some long delays because of COVID – 19 which left a sour taste among viewers.
On Tuesday, the official website for the anime series released a preview video for the thirteenth episode of Isekai Ojisan, titled “Thanks to Everyone, Thank You”. The episode will air on AT-X on March 8 and BS11, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and KBS Kyoto on March 9.
Netflix and other streaming services will also air the episode on March 9. Also, AT-X will run a complete marathon of all episodes on March 18.
Isekai Ojisan "Episode 13Thanks to everyone, thank you”As per the summary mentioned by the website, Uncle and the rest of the team try to defeat the fire dragon, who is now much more powerful and wields holy power. Mabel cannot use the ice sword because she has lost her fighting spirit. Elf gathers everyone to tell her plan.
Isekai Ojisan debuted on July 6, 2022, and underwent two long delays. The fifth episode was delayed from August 3 to August 17 because of the Covid outbreak within the studio.
Later, the eighth episode and beyond were delayed in September because of production issues with other studios caused by the outbreak in China. The anime was then restarted on October 6.
Atelier Pontdarc is the main production studio, with Shigeki Kawai as the director and Kenta Ihara as the series composer. Kazuhiro Ota designed the characters.
Although the anime has had a very rocky run, the story was certainly amusing and made us expect the unexpected a lot. I hope this show gets another season and shares more of Uncle’s adventures with us.

Isekai Ojisan is a manga series by Hotondo Shindeiru. It has been serialized in ComicWalker since 29th June 2018. An anime adaptation by AtelierPontdarc premiered in July 2022.
The manga focuses on Takafumi’s uncle who has been in a comatose state for 17 years but he suddenly wakes up one day and claims that for all this time, he was in an isekai world.
Now Takafumi has to live with an uncle who has magical powers but doesn’t know about the technological advancements of the last two decades.
