In the Star Wars Outlaws, players will encounter various challenging puzzles that require thinking critically and finding solutions. One of these puzzles involves Advanced Slicing, which can only be accomplished with a Slicing Kit.
To unlock Advanced Slicing, players must successfully complete the Advanced Slicing Practice intel mission. Unfortunately, a bug causes the intel to be marked as incomplete when attempting to solve the puzzle.
1. How to fix the Advanced Slicing Practice bug in Star Wars Outlaws?
Players can fix the Advanced Slicing Practice bug by bypassing the Intel mission in Star Wars Outlaws. It doesn’t fix the bug but prevents players from having an incomplete Intel in their journals.
To bypass the Advanced Slicing Practice Intel mission, travel to Jaunta’s Hope as fast as possible after you have completed the Slicer quest. Ensure to do this when the “QUEST COMPLETED, THE SLICER” message pops up on your screen.
By doing this, you will avoid Aila Bren reaching out to you regarding a terminal for practice. Therefore, you will bypass Intel entirely.
However, this method can only be a temporary solution until we get an official bug fix in future updates.
2. What is the Advanced Slicing Practice Intel?
The Advanced Slicing Practice Intel is a mission in Star Wars Outlaws that becomes available after you complete the Slicer Expert Quest.
After players have completed the Slicing quest and received the Slicing Kit, Aila Bren will call you. She will direct you to a terminal where you can practice Advanced Slicing.
To locate the practice area, go through the alley next to the corrupt Imperial Officer in Mirogana and climb into a closed room through the vent. There, you will come across a red barrier. You need to unlock the red barrier using the Advanced Slicing method. Doing so will grant access to the treasure behind it.
