Cayna returns to her home village to meet Lytt and others in episode 9 of In the Land of Leadale titled “Another Visit, a Mermaid, a Misunderstanding, and Zombies.”
In this episode, we meet a new character: Mimily, a mermaid whom Cayna found in the village’s well. The village gladly accepts to help the mermaid. Cayna moves ahead towards her next adventure.
Cayna meets Shining Saber, who is out with his troop to deal with the bandits. Cayna joins him in this mission, which leads to some funny misunderstandings. Cayna has already encountered new enemies by the end of the episode, whom she will deal with in the next episode.

Episode 10 Speculations
Some more characters are going to get introduced in episode 10 of In the land of Leadale, and it will be interesting to know who they are.
Cayna will first deal with the zombies she encountered in episode 9. After that, she will move ahead towards the palace of the Dragon King. In the way, she is probably going to meet some new characters.
We see a butler, a small girl, and a giant sea dragon in the preview. Cayna herself must have summoned the butler. Other than that, we saw a huge wrecked sea deep in water with a horde of skeletons on it.
We also saw a beautiful palace, probably the Dragon King’s palace. It seems like a lot is going to happen in the next episode.

Episode 9 Recap
Lytt is delighted to see Cayna return. Marelle welcomes her back and decides to have a feast to celebrate their three-month reunion. Cayna suffers from a headache and heartburn because of hangover symptoms the next morning.
She notices the villagers gathered around a well. They tell her they have been hearing moaning sounds, which sounds more like singing from the well since last night. Cayna decides to go down and check out.
Cayna changes her outfit to an Aquaman costume and summons two water fishes to guide her underwater. She dives into the well and finds a lonely mermaid crying after going deeper into it. She calms her down and asks her what happened.
The mermaid introduces herself as Mimily. She tells Cayna that she got sucked into a black hole while swimming with her friends and ended up here.
She doesn’t know the ocean she belongs to and has no way out of there. Cayna offers her to stay in the village for the time and takes her out of the well.
The villagers agree to keep her and take care of her. They tell her to live in the village bath as she needs water to live. Mimily is overwhelmed by their hospitality. Cayna gets ready to leave but not before promising Lytt to come back again.
Shinning Saber leaves Felskeilo with his troops to eliminate the bandits. On their way, Saber meets Cayna and asks where she is going. Cayna tells him that she is out in search of the palace of the Dragon King, and since Saber was going in that direction, she tagged along.
Cayna is about to summon Therwolf, but Saber grabs her and places her on his horse like a princess. She is caught off-guard and turns red as a tomato.
Saber notices her face and realizes what he has just done. He feels guilty and starts blushing. Moving ahead, his knights begin to think that Cayna is his girlfriend.
Even after clearing the misunderstanding, his knights keep teasing Saber calling Cayna his girlfriend. They travel through the forests and mountains for several days.
One night Saber tells Cayna that they will reach the Fishing town tomorrow. Cayna thanks him and provides Saber with some cooking skills to help him cook food for his troop.
Upon reaching the Fishing town, they say their goodbyes and separate. Moving ahead, Cayna gets some ominous feeling and sees that the village is covered with thick fog.
She summons Heigl to help her through the fog and takes up a sword herself. While they walk through the fog, Cayna notices that Heigl’s HP constantly decreases.
She finds out that the fog is depleting his mana. They are suddenly attacked from behind by a zombie. The zombie’s one attack alone defeats Heigl.
Seeing the zombie’s high power level, she concludes that it is a player. She easily beats it with her magic getting excited about what lies ahead.
