Mozu locks Yuki, the White Hawk, inside a cage. Mozu tells Yuzuru about her past when nobody cared about her. That marten was a rare species that everyone thought was extinct. Mozu became famous as the one who found it. Tsuzuru is terrified to know that ever since then, she always wears the fur scarf of that marten.

Boruto is excited to see Sasuke return with the legendary Thousand Mile Hawk. Boruto is still worried about Tsuzuru and tells Sasuke that, unlike Mozu, Tsuzuru loves animals but cannot choose his way of life because of his mother.

Boruto seems to relate to how it feels when you are pressured because of your parent’s expectations. That was until he met Sasuke. Boruto could choose his path and be a shinobi working from behind the scenes.

Boruto wants to help Tsuzuru, but Sasuke stops him saying that Tsuzuru has to realize it himself and choose for himself. They cannot force their sense of justice upon others. Mozu tells Tsuzuru that someone wants to buy Yuki stuff and make a mount.

After hearing that, Tsuzuru rescues Yuki and tries to run away. Mozu asks the Chief to make the wolf chase Tsuzuru. As the wolf is about to attack Tsuzuru, Boruto and Sasuke save him.

Mozu threatens to put them behind bars if they step on her property again. Sasuke offers Mozu, his legendary Thousand Mile Hawk, in exchange for letting Tsuzuru and Yuki go. Later, when the hawk seems dead, Mozu wants to perform a necroscopy, so she takes it to the lab.

Just then, the hawk wakes up and creates chaos inside Rakuen. It is revealed that Sasuke had used Genjutsu on the hawk. The hawk returns to Sasuke.
