Naoto and Nagatoro are riding the bus to the aquarium together. Nagatoro teases Naoto, saying she will grade him throughout their date to help him practice going on dates. Gamo and Yoshi stand back while Hana and Sunomiya ride alongside on their motorcycle.
Naoto and Nagatoro stop for ice cream after fleeing Gamo with Yoshi, Hana, and Sunomiya. Naoto accidentally jerks his hand to force him to taste it, causing his vanilla cone to collide with her wasabi cone. Nagatoro jokes with Naoto as they return to their cones, asking how their indirect kiss tastes.
Nagatoro announces at the end of the date that it is time to tell Naoto his final point total. Naoto’s overall score is 50 points out of 1,000. Senpai nervously inquires if their date served as good practice for her. Nagatoro pauses momentarily before telling Naoto that this date is the real deal for her. Naoto then admits that the date was also real for him.
Nagatoro suggests a kiss or a hug to Naoto to end the date. Naoto chooses the hug option nervously, but the pair overhears Hana and Sunomiya pursuing Yoshi and Gamo and end up crashing their date.
Nagatoro has been giving Gamo and Yoshi the cold shoulder since her date was ruined. She eventually caves, inviting them to eat in the art room with her. When she arrives, she notices Hana attempting to feed Naoto lunch and becomes envious before realizing it is an apology lunch.
When Hana offers to cook him lunch for the rest of the week, Nagatoro says she will. On the other hand, Naoto declines her offer because he intends to bring her lunch instead—finally, Nagatoro and Naoto hug.
