I. Story and Characters

Hitori no Shita is weird. On the one hand, it had themes like zombies and kung-fu, while on the other, it has peculiar ecchi elements.

The story has typical trails of a harem and Shonen but starts making more sense once it enters season 2.

Season 1 is more of an introduction to the whole premise and characters, so don’t worry if it makes little sense in the beginning.

The characters of Hitori no Shita are funny, powerful, and very unique. Their personalities seem natural, and their over-the-top humor is not forced.

The characters effortlessly blend in with the premise and make the show extremely entertaining.

II. Animation and Sound

When it comes to animated martial arts battles, Hitori no Shita does an excellent job of executing them.

There are some dull animations, but they are few and far between. Overall, the animation makes the plot even better.
