7. Conclusion

Since the plot of the anime is not hard to grasp, the chronological order, as well as just completing the seasons before, can both work. It depends on whether you want to rigidly follow the timeline or not. Now, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is being aired, and Natsu and his friends are on a journey to complete this quest.

Nonetheless, Fairy Tail has a bold animation style and is brilliant at world-building. It is a massive investment of time, but if you do invest, it will be worth the adventure!

8. About Fairy Tail

Fairy Tail is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima.

Just a correction on your season 9. You wrote 313-228 when you meant 328. Just a quick edit. Thanks for the list though and the time you put into figuring it out! Just what I was looking for!

Hi!! I just wanted to know if there’s a specific place that Fairy Tail Zero fits in? I know its based on Mavis and the founding of Fairy Tail but i don’t know if it fits into the plot anywhere? Thank you !!

Hi Morgan!

Fairy Tail Zero takes place before everything else and so its events don’t really fit into the plot. It’s like the history of Fairy Tail. If you watch it before anything else, it won’t spoil the main events but skipping it won’t have an effect on main story as well!

Hope this helps!

Slight correction, Wendy doesn’t arrive in Magnolia/join Fairy Tail until episode 69 so I believe it would make more sense to put that episode before OVA 1-3.
