A Guide to Get Sovereigns in Skull & Bones – Leaderboard Unlock & Uses

Skull & Bones features a lot of currencies, with Sovereigns being the rarest one that can be used to purchase items from the Black Market. But before you get your hands on some sweet, exclusive goodies, you’ll need to master your pirate skills.

Sovereigns can only be earned in the endgame portions of the game, and while they might not be very hard to obtain, you’ll still need to put in some serious work and climb up the Leaderboards to take what’s yours.

Players can earn Sovereigns by going up the Seasonal and Weekly Leaderboards and reaching the highest Infamy Rank of Kingpin. Players also need to complete the Helm mission called “A Nose for Business” in order to start earning Sovereigns.

Your Infamy can be increased by completing most activities and tasks in the game, like heists and contracts, that you take on with your crew in the game. Focus on raising your Infamy first, as that’s the only way you’ll get one step closer to earning Sovereigns.

2. How to unlock the Leaderboard in Skull & Bones?

Players can unlock the Leaderboard by reaching the Infamy Kingpin level and completing the “A Nose for Business” Helm Contract. Players must also earn Pieces of Eight to beat out other players and climb the Leaderboard.

As you pass different milestones on the Leaderboard by collecting specific amounts of Pieces of Eight, Sovereigns will be rewarded to you. The Leaderboards can be viewed through the Helm Empire Overview in the Smuggler’s Hideout.

Pieces of Eight, on the other hand, can be obtained through completing various contracts that you can pick up at The Helm or other Outpost Locations. To get the first reward of 350 Sovereigns on the Seasonal Leaderboard, you’ll need at least 10,000 Pieces.
