Blade in the Crowd Trophy Not Working – How to get it? AC Mirage

Assassin’s Creed Mirage has had a great launch, but there are still a few bugs here and there that need to be ironed out. Recently, players have discovered a new bug that makes the Blade in the Crowd Trophy unachievable.

The trophy doesn’t pop up even if players do the work required to achieve it. It’s a simple bug, but it can hinder progression for players aiming for a completionist run. Before we get into the solutions, let’s dive into the trophy itself and how to get it.

1. How to get the Blade in the Crowd Trophy in Assassin’s Creed Mirage?

Assassinate While Blending in – Assassin’s Creed Mirage

To get the Blade in the Crowd Trophy, players need to assassinate 10 guards while blending in a crowd. The easiest way to do so is by travelling to the Damascus Gate Prison, going to the courtyard, and killing the guards there.

The area’s filled with small crowds with guards patrolling it, making it perfect for you to make your move. Blend in the crowd and whistle to lure enemies in and kill them when they’re close enough.

Whatever you do, make sure you’re blended in with a crowd; otherwise, the game won’t count the kills for the trophy. If you run out of enemies, you can leave, and fast travel away and then head back again to repeat the process on newly spawned enemies.

Another easy way to get this trophy is by hiring Merchant groups with Merchant Tokens. Take them to the Damascus Gate Prison courtyard, then Focus Assassinate all the guards while using them as cover, and that’s it.

While the trophy isn’t hard to get, it’s bugged for many players, which prevents them from getting it. If you’re one of the unfortunate ones who just can’t seem to get it even after killing a lot of guards while blending in, don’t worry, as there’s a fix for it.

2. How to fix the Blade in the Crowd Trophy not working in Assassin’s Creed Mirage?

The “Blade in the Crowd trophy not working” glitch can be fixed by resetting all skill points, equipping the starter gear and outfit (Initiate of Alamut) with no dyes or talismans and restarting the game. Now kill 10 guards while blending in and the trophy should pop right up.

This fix seems to be working for a lot of players, so give it a shot once. If, for some reason, this fix doesn’t resolve the issue and the trophy’s still not popping up, read on below to learn about other potential fixes.

I. Restart your Console

Some bugs and glitches can be fixed with a simple restart, and this may be one of those bugs. Simply restart the console, whatever it is, relaunch the game, and then kill 10 guards while blending in to see if it’s popping up.

If restarting your console doesn’t solve the issue for you and the trophy’s still not popping up even after killing 10 guards, then proceed to the next potential fix.

II. Reload a Save

Corrupted saves can give rise to bugs and glitches that hinder progression. To make sure that’s not the case with this trophy, reload a previous save and do the work required to get the trophy, and it should pop right up.

If the trophy’s still not popping up, then simply reset the skill points, equip your starting outfit and gear, restart the game, and then kill 10 guards while blending in. The trophy should now pop up, as this is a fix that’s confirmed to be working for players.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. The game is the thirteenth primary installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. While its historical timeframe precedes that of Valhalla, its modern-day framing story succeeds Valhalla’s own.

Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age—in particular during the Anarchy at Samarra—the story follows Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first introduced in Valhalla), a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones to fight for peace and liberty against the Order of the Ancients,[b] who desire peace through control. The main narrative focuses on Basim’s internal struggle between his duties as a Hidden One and his desire to uncover his mysterious past.
