Everything is not what it seems in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Inside the Great Symposium at the House Of wisdom, you’ll come across evidence which point to Fazil Fahim the Great Scholar, also known as Al-Rabisu, being the leader of the Order of Abbasiyah.

1. Eavesdrop on Nearby Poetry Fans For Clues
Firstly, players need to talk to Kahraman about Fazil’s next lecture. You’ll learn that there is an interval before the lecture begins, giving Basim the perfect amount of time to look around for more clues.
Make use of your Eagle Vision to detect people to eavesdrop on. Sit on the bench just in front of the stairs to eavesdrop on nearby groups. You’ll get to learn about a poet named Arib, giving you your next objective, which is to find her.
Next, you’ll come across Nehal near the stairs, who’ll task you with following her to the laboratory.
Inside the laboratory, you’ll be allowed to interact with certain objects, learning about the history of the wildest trinkets and gadgets inside the House of Wisdom.

2. Attend Fazil’s Lecture
Interacting with Kahraman will begin Fazil’s lecture, which will end pretty abruptly as he gets to know via Kahraman about the death of two of his close aides, Zahra and Hassan. This will make Fazil go into hiding once again.
After the cutscene ends, head towards the icon on the compass indicating a magnifying glass. This will lead you to the Gatekeeper, who’ll keep repeating the phrase, “Those Who Came Before Are…” You need to find the answer to this phrase.
3. Find the Answer to “Those Who Came Before Are…”
The Gatekeeper will keep repeating the phrase until you find the answer to it. What you need to do next is go to the upper floor by the stairs on the right of the Gatekeeper and sit on a nearby bench to eavesdrop on a distraught librarian talking about Fazil’s masterwork.
You’ll learn that the librarian has lost Fazil’s book, meaning you need to find it. Next, go down the stairs, take two rights and go outside the House of Wisdom to climb it.
Climb up to the balcony, go straight then left and activate your Eagle Vision to find the misplaced book, highlighted in orange.
Interacting with it will give you the complete phrase which is “Those Who Came Before Are Those Who Shall Return.” Now, all you need to do is return to the Gatekeeper and finish the phrase to enter the door behind him.
4. Find a Patient’s Robe to Get Closer to Fazil
Enter the door behind the Gatekeeper and activate your Eagle Vision to see a bookshelf on the left, being highlighted in orange. Move the bookshelf to reveal a secret pathway to the basement.
Enemies will be safeguarding this area, so you’ll need to take them out to progress more into the basement. Follow the enemies with the help of your Eagle Vision. You’ll eventually come across a note titled “Robing is Mandatory” just to the left of an unlocked door.
Open the door to the right of the note to notice a hole, located beneath a wall on the right. Go through this hole to find a patient’s robe, required for a disguise, in order to get closer to Fazil.
5. Assassinating Fazil Fahim, the Great Scholar
After wearing the White Patient Robe, unbar the door on the right to get out of the room. Take another right down the hallway to reach another door, leading to Fazil.
Next, you’ll need to follow a guard, marked by an icon indicating a chakra. The guard will take you straight to Fazil, who will be busy performing a ritual. All you need to do now, is participate in the ritual to assassinate him.
