Ashiya becomes concerned when he sees Maou looking for hats. He hopes that he won’t spend too much money on them. The new acquaintances Suzuki meets are pretty enjoyable, and she keeps pulling Chiho’s leg to keep them entertained.

In the middle of shopping, Emi and Maou talk about the political climate they left behind and how it has changed since then. Maou confidently replies that he has given up on the troops he left behind when Emi asks him about them.

The arch-enemy’s perspective on conflict and war has changed, and Emi sees this as an opportunity to mock Maou. Emi is left dumbfounded by the Demon King as he questions her position regarding ordinary people fighting in the elite-led war.

Many things she had always taken for granted became apparent to her. When they are finished shopping and are outside, Emi still has trouble comprehending Maou’s point, even though they are all outside.

Alas Ramus will soon discover a poster for the show he has been hoping to see. Ultimately, Emi is forced to pay because Maou has no money left. However, while they watch the show, Alas Ramus suddenly mumbles something about everyone falling from the tree and Malkuth having disappeared.

The gibberish is understandable to Maou and Emi, but when a crescent-shaped mark appears on Alas Ramus’ forehead, they are highly concerned.

After she is taken outside, she is laid down immediately. A mysterious woman approaches Emi while Maou is getting something for Ramus. She briefly observes Ramus before lifting her hand, adorned with a purple-colored ring.

Minutes later, Ramus rises on her own and asks for her father. As she stared dumbfounded at the mysterious lady, Emi could not learn anything of value about her, which would have enabled her to learn more about her later.

Maou and Emi then take a Ferris wheel ride for Ramus. Emi learns about his past from the Demon King. War was easily fought, and violence was normalized centuries ago when the Demon realm was divided.

The angel taught Maou things that helped him later unite the demons during one such period of brutal bloodshed when he lost his parents. The crystal that became Ramus was given to him by her, and he later learned about the human realm through her.

A call from home sends shivers down Emi’s spine after they get off the Ferris wheel. It turns out that someone named Gabriel cornered Suzuno and Urushihara while they were away.

A group of armed soldiers, led by Gabriel, surround the duo when they reach the house quickly. Archangels from Ente Isla entrust him with the responsibility of leading lower-ranked angels.

Yesod, the tree of life, had been protected by Gabriel for years before Lailah broke it into several smaller fragments. Gabriel is the guardian of Yesod.

He arrived on Earth to retrieve the pieces of Yesod from Alas Ramus to prevent Alas Ramus from becoming a fallen angel. It is out of the question for Maou and Emi to let him take back Ramus despite his requests.

The controlled attacks Gabriel uses to intimidate Maou when it appears that requests are not working but they do not succeed in breaking his determination.
