The first part of The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh has finally arrived on Netflix. It features an original story by Nakaba Suzuki, the author. Originally planned for two parts, Netflix has spilled the beans for the second part right away.
On Wednesday, just a day after the premiere of Part 1, Netflix Japan announced that The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh Part 2 will premiere in August 2023.

A Christmas-special event will also premiere on Netflix Anime’s YouTube channel on December 25. It will feature voice actors Ayumu Murase (Tristan), Koki Uchiyama (Fairy), Yuki Kaji (Meliodas), and Yohei Azakami (Deathpierce).
The cast will talk about the recently released Grudge of Edinburgh Part 1 movie, followed by a commentary from Yuki Kaji, and a game where the cast fights for Christmas presents.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh is directed by Bob Shirahata, with Alfred Imageworks and Marvy Jack as the production studios. Rintarou Ikeda wrote the scripts, and Kohta Yamamoto composed the music with Hiroyuki Sawano.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh Part 2 is the second part of the two-part Grudge of Edinburgh film series. It is set to premiere on August 2023.
The movie features Meliodas and Elizabeth’s son Tristan as the protagonist struggling with the powers he inherited from his parents. He goes to Edinburgh to find a cure for his mother’s illness. In Edinburgh, Deathpierce, a former holy knight maintains his castle.
