If you think Netflix’s ‘Dark’ is the only series that can blow your mind, you will be proven wrong in the near future as a new project is under production from the Stiens;Gate franchise.
Steins;Gate is often considered the pinnacle of all sci-fi anime, and is known for its bizarre choices and events that often take unexpected turns.
It’s easy to mess up with the plot while dealing with time travel but requires absolute brilliance to make a time-travel story stand out from the rest, and that’s exactly what the anime did.
The official Twitter account for Stein;Gate revealed an image to tease us about an upcoming project from the franchise.

The story shall be “Reborn”
In the image, we see “World Line Fluctuation” numbers (0.210317) in a set of cathode tubes, somewhat mimicking how the games and anime displayed the level of divergence between various parallel universes.
These numbers most probably represent a date, March 17, 2021 (21/03/17), when a more detailed announcement will be made.
Later on today, a short clip was released where the number 0.210317 changes to 0.170922! This can either mean that a detailed announcement will be made on 2021.03.17. 09:22 (JST), or that the project will premiere on 2022.09.17.

Fan have come up with another theory that 170922 may mean 2017.09.22. Now, what happened on that specific date? Well, Chiyomaru showed the very first “gameplay” video about Steins;Gate Elite. This makes us wonder if the announcement on the 17th will be about 0 Elite.

Every new announcement on this ‘Big Project’ keeps us on the edge of our seats, pretty much the same way the original anime did and I can’t wait for March 17 to meet my curiosity.
