In Black Clover’s chapter 304, Gaja has just shocked every character present in his vicinity by confessing to Lolopechka. Just to clarify that his affection isn’t getting mistaken for duty, he explains that he loves her as a woman.
Gaja’s confession itself was so sudden that I am still reeling from the bliss created by it. The chapter started with Gaja’s imminent death, but not only has Tabata sensei brought him back for good, but also let us have this gorgeous proposal moment.
From Lolopechka’s stuttering response to Undine claiming that she’s hers, everything was just too perfect. Oh, don’t forget Asta shipping them in the background.
Now, this confession leads all eyes to the other potential couples in the manga. The most obvious of those being Noelle and Asta and Yami and Charlotte.
Noelle will have to be the first to confess in her case because Asta is too busy being a lovable fool. Charlotte might also have to do the same. I am hoping that after Yami is rescued, she gets an appropriate chance to confess.
The way Gaja came back from death’s door and confessed right away really makes me swoon because the guy has his priorities straight. He was never a very social and talkative person, so this public confession adds even more value to his feelings (never mind the shock factor).
The next chapter will show Zenon going against Yuno, yet I can’t help but want more of Lolopechka’s reaction to this sudden development.
Chapter 304 was a nice break from the constant battles. With one established couple and some more waiting, I can look forward to a pleasant ending to the series.
