‘My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1’ is set in a world where everything literally ‘drops’ in dungeons. One day, a human gets ‘dropped’ when Emily Brown smashes a slime. The human, Ryota Satō, is unable to understand how he arrived here.
Moreover, it is overwhelming for him to see everything just appearing after defeating monsters, including air, water, and food.
On Thursday, the official website for ‘My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1’ released a promo video for the anime. It also revealed two new cast members and the ending theme. The anime is scheduled for July.
The video is somewhat an extension of the teaser visual released earlier. As Ryota tries to understand his stats and the world, Emily mispronounces his name. Ryota’s ‘Drop Skill – All S’ is shown in action when a defeated slime drops a big heap of bean sprouts.
In the background, the song played is “Tamborine no Naru Oka” (The Tambourine-Ringing Hill) by Airi Miyakawa, which is the ending theme.
Two new characters are shown in the promo. Below is the full cast revealed.

This looks like a light-hearted isekai anime despite some familiar elements like extraordinary skill and monster hunting. But the latter replacing jobs like agriculture and fishing, changes the situation entirely.

My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 is an isekai light novel series written by Nazuna Miki and illustrated by Subachi. It has been published online via the novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō since February 2017, and was later acquired by Kodansha.
It is a story about Ryota Sato who is transported to a world where his power level doesn’t go up, but instead he acquires a unique skill that helps him survive in the other realm.
