We’re already drawn to the ominous note on which the film takes off.

Tomoya Sugisaki, Aoi Harukawa, and Ryo Kobayashi are introduced. Their meet-cute is the outcome of their desire to find the spirit girl named Ayane Satō, popularly known as the ‘Summer Ghost,’ who appears when fireworks are lit and is the source of an urban legend.

You must be wondering why. Why do these high school students want to meet the Summer Ghost?

Each of them has a distinctive motive for meeting the Summer Ghost. Tomoya cannot live the life he desires, Aoi cannot find her place in the world, and Ryo’s promising future is abruptly cut short.

Summer Ghost is based on a single illustration created by loundraw. Isn’t the five-minute trailer already piquing your interest?
