We have often heard of manga and anime inspiring live-action dramas or series. Ever heard the other way around? has a live-action ever got adapted into an anime? Yes, that is absolutely rare.
One of the most-loved game shows on Fuji TV, Run for the Money (Run for Money Tōsōchū) will also arrive as an anime in just a few weeks under the title Tōsōchū: The Great Mission.
On Monday, the official website for the anime released a promotional video. It features the opening song “Runaway World” by fhána. The anime will premiere on April 2.
The trailer mainly shows the character Sōya Tomura, who runs while the hunters wearing black suits chase him. He is shown evading laser lassos and walking on walls as he runs around. Other characters like Runa, Maurice, Harvest, and Satoshi also make a brief appearance.
As previously revealed, the ending song for the Tōsōchū anime is “Fly Away” by AB6IX. The following cast members have been revealed:

Yukio Kaizawa and Kōhei Kureta will direct the series with Toei Animation as the producing studio and Tomohiro Nakayama writing the scripts. Yōichi Ōnishi is designing the characters for the anime.
Original designs are made by Takeshi Okano as shown in the visual. Kotaro Nakagawa is composing the music.
This looks like a futuristic game show but contains the same thrill and excitement as the original. Being an anime, there might be a character story to it but overall, it looks like an interesting take on the show.
About Tōsōchū: The Great Mission
Tōsōchū: The Great Mission is an upcoming anime inspired by Fuji TV’s popular game show Run for the Money (run for money Tōsōchū).
It is set in the future when humans have migrated to the Moon due to Earth’s climate change. The story incorporates the drama of survival and blurs the borders by introducing players to fields like London, Japan’s Edo period, Shibuya, and more as ‘Hunters’ chase them down.
