Everything You Need to Know About The Beginning After the End Anime

However, The Begining After The End (TBATE) has been around for long enough and has amassed a huge fanbase already, so the anime adaption was well deserved.

The Beginning After The End Plot

The Beginning After The End comes off as the typical isekai anime: the king of a distant land, King Grey, was reincarnated into a magical world on the continent called Dicathen. In the new world, he reincarnated as a baby that was named Arthur Leywin. Very much like in the popular anime Mushoku Tensei, Arthur Leywin had memories from his previous life.

King Grey was a man who had immense power and wealth. However, wealth and power don’t bring happiness, so King Grey is a truly lonely man with no true purpose despite being the most powerful man in the world. When he reincarnated in Dicathen, he realized he could relive his life and make better choices. He took the path of magic, made trustworthy allies, and tried his best to live a fruitful life. The only hindrance to this was the looming threat that was ready to trample on his peace and destroy everything he’d worked hard to build in his new life.

The Beginning After The End Anime May Be A Massive Letdown

There is an abundance of isekai anime at this point, many of which have been skipped over by most anime fans because of how repetitive they can get. The Beginning After The End definitely serialized at a time when isekai anime was trending, but now, it is safe to say that the hype for isekai anime peaked with the release of Mushoku Tensei, and we will likely not see an anime that trumps it in the foreseeable future.

The biggest reason for the TBATE to likely not perform well is because it has cheap production. Studio A-Cat has not produced a single anime that has performed well to date, and the same can be said about the director of the anime, who also isn’t known to have directed any anime worth mentioning. Despite being a well-received manhwa, this series is likely to be trashed by the fandom soon after its release.
