‘Dropkick on My Devil!’ TV Special to Get Released in Fall 2023

‘Jashin-chan Dropkick’ or ‘Dropkick on My Devil!’ is well-loved by fans for what it offers. It is one of the rare anime that walks (more like ‘plays’) into the forbidden territory of violent and sadistic comedy. Every character has a different personality, but the lamia takes advantage of all.

Originally in the anime, Yurine punishes Jashin-chan for her actions, often with a chainsaw. However, the upcoming television special will show the two with their roles reversed.

On Saturday, the official Twitter account for ‘Dropkick on My Devil!’ announced that the television special ‘Dropkick on My Devil! Apocalypse Arc’ will air on December 26.

Broadcast on BS NTV! ※ planned

I said it even though I only made storyboards! scared!!

A fourth season for the series has also been fully crowdfunded. The TV special will be a separate episode and is produced by Studio Makaria instead of Studio Nomad. Makaria has previously worked on series like ‘Kiyoneko’ and ‘Tsuyokute New Saga’.

‘Dropkick on My Devil! Apocalypse Arc’ is set in the city of Jinbocho ruined after a meteor strike. Yurine is an evil ruler and Jashin-chan is guided by stars to the south to defeat her.

The plot is slightly vague but suggests that Jashin-chan will take on the role of a savior, which is unlike her delinquent behavior. Yurine was brutal as the protagonist so I can’t imagine how evil she will be as a villain. This is something fresh from the franchise, so I hope there aren’t many running gags that we are used to.
