Dr Stone, the renowned anime about a science prodigy, will be back with a second season and its winter 2021 release date is approaching soon. Meanwhile, the theme songs for the second season have been revealed!
Senku is only 16 years old, but when humanity is petrified for thousands of years, he is the only hope left.
With his genius and practical skills, he can build even the most complicated scientific inventions. From ramen to war tanks, nothing is impossible to create for our little scientist.
The opening and ending themes of Dr. Stone: Stone Wars have been revealed. The opening theme is “Paradise” by Fujifabric. The ending theme, “Voice?” is being performed by HATENA. Season 2 will premiere in January 2021.
Crunchyroll will simul-stream the second season worldwide except Asia. Funimation will provide the English dubbed version of the anime.
Dr Stone: Stone Wars will be adapting the stone wars arc from the manga. Senku and Tsukasa will be going head to head and a decisive battle will determine how mankind will head into the next generation.
Who will win? Science or muscle power? The classic battle of brain vs. brawl is sure to be intense in the upcoming season.
Senku will come up with some even more surprising inventions to help the village of science against Tsukasa’s army.
Season 1 ended after Senku created a communication device. He was also able to hear Byakuya and Lilian’s recorded voice from the past.
The next season will definitely start with Senku being a naughty boy and using Lilian’s voice to manipulate Tsukasa’s followers. We cannot wait to see the comic evil face of Senku and Gen!
