Dr. Stone: STONE WARS Release Date Confirmed – January 2021

Dr. Stone, the popular sci-fi manga from author Riichiro Inagaki and illustrator Boichi, debuted in 2017.

Ever since its debut, the manga has captured a large number of readers with its intriguing plot. With crazy inventions made from scratch, Senku has proved his mettle and keeps the story engaging.

The manga also received its anime adaptation and the trailer for season two has been released.

Dr. Stone Season 2 Trailer

In the trailer for season two, Tsukasa states his goal of getting rid of impurities from society by snuffing out the flame of science, once and for all.

Dr. Stone’s first season aired from July to December 2019. The last episode ended with Senku building a communication device to aid him in the battle against Tsukasa’s empire.

A tweet from Weekly Shonen Jump announced that season two will be broadcast in January 2021.

A new key visual for Dr. Stone “Stone Wars” was tweeted by Weekly Shonen Jump.

The visual portrays Senku and Tsukasa as the main characters in the upcoming season. Figures from the sides of both “The Kingdom of Science” as well as the “Tsukasa Empire” have been shown.

An official teaser trailer for Dr. Stone’s second season has been posted.

From the side of the Kingdom of Science, Senku, Gen, Kohaku, and Chrome are shown. The characters from Tsukasa’s empire are Tsukasa, Hyoga, Ukyo, Yo Uei, and Nikki. It will be a battle of science against force.

A notice of an important upcoming announcement regarding Dr. Stone was published in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. Speculation of it being an anime announcement came out to be true.

Recap of Season 1 Finale

A flashback of Byakuya shows him leaving a glass record for Senku. Senku builds a record player at present and listens to Byakuya’s message, which also contains a record of Lillian singing.

Stone Wars Plot

A clash between the Kingdom of Science and Tsukasa’s Empire is inevitable. How will Senku strategically use his communication device to acquire information? Who are the real allies in this battle? This arc will show us whether it is science or brute force which is needed for survival.
