They sail out onto the sea to try and recover some of the other statues, but it’s far too deep. Senku decides that scuba diving equipment is the next thing on the itinerary. He constructs an oxygen tank, and they all work together to fill it up.

With the new equipment, they dive in and swim under the ship to try and find the statues. Soyuz calculates the trajectory of the falling figures, and they use the ten minutes they have to try to save as many people as possible.

They try to get Kaseki up first, but the statue is buried too far. Ryusui signals Senku, asking for revival fluid first, but Soyuz realizes he won’t be able to revive him underwater. Ryusui pulls out his oxygen pump to create an air bubble through which he pours the nitric acid.
