Being the first people from the New Stone World to go into space comes with some hurdles of its own, and you’ll be surprised at who’s having second thoughts about the whole thing.

We all know how overly confident and capable Ryusui is, but he never gets blinded by all the glory and appreciation. He might be a narcissist to the core, but he’s far from drowning in self-obsession and forgetting the reality.

Dr. Stone’s latest chapter 220 shows Ryusui visiting a petrified Stanley and admitting how the American military officer is a far better pilot and shooter than he is. The heir to the Nanami Conglomerate also speculates about giving up his position to Stanley.

Ryusui is the best choice for the mission, considering how he has always been a trustworthy ally of the Kingdom of Science and has an impeccable skill set and knowledge. Although, Stanley is someone who can give Ryusui a tough competition in the same field.

Stanley has always been a genius troublemaker and one of Kingdom Science’s greatest foes. Besides being an excellent and loyal friend to Xeno, the manga has also shown Stanley’s a pretty talented pilot and shooter.

As I said earlier, Ryusui also happens to be pretty aware of his abilities and would do anything for the mission to succeed, even if it means reviving someone they shouldn’t and giving up his place.

Honestly, I am not very sure about reviving Stanley as he is the reason why Xeno is working on this space project. If it weren’t for his best friend, Xeno would have never agreed to help Senku and the others.

But, I am sure that Team Science’s genius minds will work out a solution for this too.
