1. Chapter 187 Discussions and Predictions
Chapter 187 will take us to the last bout of the science war between Stanley and Senku. Since Suika and Francois have a run-in with Stanley’s gang, we don’t know if they can stay out of the petrification radius.
Francois has already addressed themselves as civilian doctors, and the fact that Suika saved Charlotte from the spider bite makes their story even more believable.

The American soldiers order Suika to freeze, but the little girl isn’t aware of the 21st century English term, so she runs away from them. Meanwhile, Francois is hidden in the bushes with a knife as her only weapon.
One of the soldiers gives the order to shoot Suika, and with no other option left, Francois throws her knife towards Ginro and Matsukaze to do something to save Suika.
Matsukaze somehow catches the knife and sets Ginro free, now it’s up to Ginro to save Suika. Knowing that Suika’s life is at stake, Ginro makes a desperate attempt to distract the soldiers from Suika.
A scared Ginro swings a huge log and starts fighting with Stanley’s gang single-handedly. Soon, one of the henchmen blasts a smoke bomb and pins him down.
Francois notices that Stanley didn’t shoot Ginro even when he had the opportunity. This makes her believe that Stanley isn’t a cold-blooded murderer.
So, she plays a huge gamble by surrendering herself and Suika to Stanley. She explains that both of them were civilians and were staying away from the battlefield. She further comments that Suika is a doctor who was trying to save Charlotte from the spider’s venom.
Suika blames herself for being so useless and dragging everyone into this mess. We know that’s not true because Francois has sent a radio transmission to their U.S base before getting caught.
