Doraemon and Nobita have been such a major part of our childhood that even now, we find ourselves going back to it at times. The series has been going on since the 1970s and continues to be a timeless kodomo anime.
Since it has been going on for such a long time, a remake of some classic storylines and movies is bound to happen. And we’re here with the announcement of another remake!
Doraemon Movie: Nobita’s Space Wars 2021 will finally be released in Spring 2022 and a special PV has also been released by the franchise.
The trailer features Doraemon and his friends along with two new characters for the film: Papi and Rokoroko. It shows how Doraemon and Nobita met their friends from outer space.
A streak of wholesome moments follows until Papi tells them the real motive they came to Earth. As expected, Nobita and his friends promise to help Papi and Rokoroko, oblivious to the consequences that would follow.
Additionally, a key visual announcing the Spring 2022 release was unveiled as well.
It features all of the main characters of the movie, along with Papi and Rokoroko.
The movie is a remake of the 1985 Doraemon film Nobita’s Space War (Little Star Wars). It will be shown in a new light with better quality and graphics for today’s kids to enjoy and the adults who grew up watching the show.
The movie was scheduled for a March 2021 release but got postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
But now it is finally getting released, and I can’t wait for it! Because that’s the thing about Doraemon, you’re never too old for it.
About Doraemon
Doraemon is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujiko F. Fujio. The manga was first serialized in December 1969, with its 1,345 individual chapters compiled into 45 tankōbon volumes, published by Shogakukan.
The anime franchise of Doraemon revolves around a robotic cat called the future called Doraemon, who has come to assist Nobita in his daily life.
Doraemon is from the 22nd century, and his 4D pocket consists of several gadgets from the future. Nobita uses these gadgets to better his life as per his wishes but mostly ends up in trouble.
With his friends, Shizuka, Sunio, and Gian, Nobita goes on different adventures with the help of Doraemon.
