Diamond no Ace act Ⅱ just concluded with Seidou High School’s baseball team already playing in the West Tokyo Tournament. In the next season, due to being a seeded team, their first game will be against Yura Sougou.

Seidou High School’s baseball team had not successfully reached the Nationals for the past seven years.

In Sawamura’s first year, they were beaten by Inashiro Industrial in the West Tokyo Regional Tournament finals and did not qualify for 89th Summer Nationals.

However, after the third years retired, this changed. Seidou won the Tokyo Fall Tournament and reached the Spring Nationals.

In the manga, Seidou goes on to win against Yura Sougou, Hachiya Ouji, Norikane Academy and reaches the Quarterfinals.

There they manage to defeat Sousei High, seven to one and reach the semifinals where they will face Ichidaisan High. Based on the team’s condition, the chances of them winning the regionals and participating in the Nationals are high.

Besides, since the last 600 chapters, we have been following Eijun’s journey along with Seidou, and it is about time for them to win the Nationals.

Ace of Diamond is a Japanese shōnen baseball manga series by Yuji Terajima and published by Kodansha. Weekly Shōnen Magazine has serialized it from 2006 to 2015.

A sequel titled Ace of Diamond Act II started in 2015. An anime adaptation ran from 6 October 2013 to 28 March 2016.

The protagonist is Eijun Sawamura, a baseball pitcher with a very strange changeup pitch that is natural to him but surprising to others.
