Diamond no Ace: Act II Episode 51 – Release Date, Where to Watch

Team Seido advances to the quarter-finals after beating Team Yura Sogo with a score of 10-2. Furuya is yet to pitch in the summer tournament match.

The quarter-final rounds will witness clashes between 4 powerful teams like Yakushi, Inashiro, Ichidai, and Seido. Hachiya Oji and Masanori Kawabata are the elite players from Tokyo who are set to play against Team Seido.

Coach Kataoka recalls what Coach Tesshin said after their match against Team Yura Sogo. Tesshin tells Kataoka to train Sawamura more as he resembles Kataoka himself in his initial days.

Tesshin states,” The team raises the Ace, and the Ace makes the team stronger.” Sawamura enters with enthusiasm, and the coach tells him who they will be up against in the next match.

As decided, Furuya is set to pitch but tells Sawamura to warm up during the match in case the time arises. With Masanori firing his teammates to defeat Seido, Furuya pitches his first ball, and the curtains fall.

Ace of Diamond is a Japanese shōnen baseball manga series by Yuji Terajima and published by Kodansha. It has been serialized by Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 2006 to 2015. A sequel titled Ace of Diamond Act II started in 2015. An anime adaptation ran from 6 October 2013 to 28 March 2016.

The protagonist is Eijun Sawamura, a baseball pitcher with a very strange changeup pitch that is natural to him but surprising to others. Sawamura plans to go to a local high school and play baseball with his friends, to showcase their skills and win the matches,
