Hiro Shimono is one of the most noticeable shonen voice actors making their mark in the anime landscape.
For those living under a rock, he is the voice behind many hit characters, such as Zenitsu Agatsuma in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Dabi in My Hero Academia. Considering his work, he has voiced many characters that have made us laugh and cry.
However, a piece of unfortunate news has struck!
On Friday, through his agency, I’m Enterprise’s official website, it was announced that Voice Actor, Hiro Shimono, has tested positive on the PCR test for COVID 19. As a result, he is undergoing medical treatment and follow-up observation.
Currently, they are also confirming if there were any close contacts with the actor.
The official notice has thanked the fans for their continued support for Hiro Shimono and apologized for any inconvenience and concern caused.
Additionally, there was a recent scare regarding the health of Akari Kito, the voice actress of Demon Slayer’s Nezuko. However, that was more of a COVID fluke, which spiraled into fake news.
Therefore, it’s essential to keep yourself well informed in uncertain times.
Coming back to Hiro Shimono, fans will be excited to know his latest project, The Dungeon of Black Company, will start airing next Friday.
As we binge on the new anime, let’s hope that he gets well soon!
