With multiple wooden dragons attacking the trio relentlessly, Tanjiro cannot keep up with the speed of its attacks. Luckily for them, Mitsuri makes it just in time with a flurry of graceful slashes that cut through all its attacks with ease and brings some hope to the fight.
Falling into the trap of the Upper Rank, Mitsuri gets caught by an unexpected attack before Tanjiro can stop her, but she isn’t fighting alone. Coordinating with the rest of the team to remove the main body, this fight is already won.

The main body is now out of the wood defense and on the run into the forest while Genya, Tanjiro, and Nezuko chase it down; since it’s no longer just Tanjiro chasing it, they can soon get the final killing blow.

Mitsuri Kanroji reaches just in time to slice through the wooden dragons of the Upper Four, taking them all out in an elegant swoop and reaching the demon himself. However, Nezuko and Genya are still under his control, and Mitsuri gets offended by the demon’s taunts and refuses to hold back.
Using Love Breathing’s multiple forms and quickly slashing through the demon’s attacks, she lands an attack on what she thinks is the main body itself. However, even though she took the attack straight on without any way to block it, she still survives, although she remains stunned.
Mitsuri had always been a quirky child with a huge appetite and would even take on adults in arm wrestling matches, where she quickly won. Growing up, she got insecure about being married and how no one would want a girl so strong and with such weird hair and even tried to pretend to be someone she’s not.
Tanjiro, Genya, and Nezuko manage to grab Mitsuri before she gets hit by the final attack and brings her back to her senses. Refusing to hold back any longer, Mitsuri charges in for the kill while holding off all the dragons while the rest go in for the main body using Tanjiro’s sense of smell.
Wrapped up in a little tree, they find the main body, but it evades their attacks and starts sprouting more wood, launching itself off the ground. Nezuko uses her blood demon art, and Tanjiro combines it with his Hinokami Kagura to slice off the wood shell, but the demon escapes again and runs into the forest.
Tanjiro screams with rage while he runs away from all his sins, and he continues chasing him through the bushes. However, there is no universe where he can evade the determined might of Tanjiro alongside Nezuko and Genya’s rage.
