With the final stages of the fight quickly bringing it to a close, Muichiro Tokito has discovered himself as well as the memories of his past. Along with it, he has also unlocked the fury that stems from the death of his brother and the hatred he has for the demons that caused it.

The darkness of the night encapsulates the battlefield while Haganezuka continues to sharpen the knife, and Muichiro faces off against the Upper Rank. Gyokko continues to taunt and make fun of Muichiro, who continues to insult and further enrage him.

Now wholly filled with rage, Gyokko sends out attacks with much greater power and fury than before, but Muichiro is in the zone right now and manages to almost behead him. Still, he sheds his skin and moves up a tree, finally revealing his proper form, similar to that of a snake.

With much greater speed and power, he almost lands a hit on Muichiro, merely scraping his shirt. He remembers the death of his brother, the one main reason that led him to train so hard, and he vomits blood. Even now, he remains determined to eradicate all the demons and toys with Gyokko within his mist.

Landing a clean slice through the neck and decapitating Gyokko, the head screams curses at Muichiro, who slices through it to obliterate it. Haganezuka refuses to get up from the stone, and Muichiro finally begins to feel the after-effects of the fight as he falls to the ground envisioning everyone who supported and loved him thus far.

Meanwhile, Tanjiro desperately tries to use the power of Hinokami Kagura against the Upper Rank’s final form. Still, the wooden dragons continue to outpace and launch attacks at a speed he can barely avoid. In his exhausted state, he gets eaten by one of the dragons and almost dies if not for Mitsuri’s arrival.

Slicing through all the dragons, she asks him to leave the rest to her as she jumps at incredible speeds, evading every attack with grace and elegance. Nezuko and Genya are also struggling against its attacks; all hopes now lie on the Love Hashira.
