‘Demon Slayer’ Set to Adapt Swordsmith Village Arc for Season 3

Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc just ended airing, and everyone can finally let go of their collectively held breaths. Tengen is still alive and so are our adorable protagonists.

Thus, the production committee has struck while the iron is still hot and announced that the anime will soon return with season 3.

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime has just confirmed that the third season will adapt the Swordsmith Village arc, and it can be expected by early 2023.

A small teaser and new visuals have been revealed on the official Twitter account of the series to tease the next Hashiras who will join the crazy journey.

In the latest arc, Tanjiro has once again chipped his new sword, and Hotaru is ready to throw hands. Poor Haganezuka is finally tired of this atrocious boy and refuses to repair the sword anymore.

This will lead Tanjiro to visit the Swordsmith village, where he will hear the rumor of a secret weapon that makes people stronger.

In the upcoming arc, we will also meet the Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, and the Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito.

Of course, ufotable will animate season 3, and Haruo Sotozaki will be the director. All the main cast and staff members will also reprise their roles.

The Swordsmith Village arc consists of 30 chapters, so we can easily get an entire cour out of the arc. After the spectacular ending of season 2, fans are once again charged to encounter some new Hashiras and Upper Rank demons.

In a world filled with demons and demon slayers, Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the lives of two siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado after— the murder of their family at the hands of a demon. Their hardship does not end there, as Nezuko’s life is spared only for her to live as a demon.

As the oldest sibling, Tanjiro vows to protect and cure his sister. The story traces the bond of this brother-sister or better yet, demon slayer and demon combo against the odds of an arch antagonist and the society.
